TERMS OF SERVICE
Please read these operating terms and driver eligibility conditions carefully before booking a self-drive car with CityRide.
1. Operating Region
CityRide self-drive rental vehicles are strictly permitted to operate within the Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR) including Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), and adjacent districts. Inter-state transit is strictly prohibited without prior written dispatcher permit.
2. Driver Eligibility & Age Limits
All primary renters and additional authorized drivers must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid, non-learner light motor vehicle (LMV) Driving License issued at least 12 months prior to the rental start date.
3. Speed Limit Rules
CityRide self-drive vehicles are equipped with active GPS tracking units. The speed limit is capped at 100 km/h. Speed limit alerts logged by the tracker trigger a ₹500 fine per alert. Continuous overspeeding will result in immediate engine immobilizer dispatch and trip cancellation.
4. Prohibited Uses
Vehicles cannot be used for racing, towing, transporting hazardous materials, commercial courier distribution, or carrying passengers for hire. Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited inside all CityRide vehicles; violation triggers a ₹2,000 professional cleaning fee.
5. Dispatch & Key Handover
Keys will only be handed over to the primary renter who executed the electronic agreement. Renter must present original physical Driving License and Aadhaar Card for verification. Matching live selfie check is mandatory.
